Legal
Legal policies governing the use of Tremblay Systems Integration Inc. services, effective April 20, 2026.
Privacy Policy
Tremblay Systems Integration Inc. collects and processes personal information only as necessary for service delivery and client communication. We collect: name, business email, company name, and project details provided through our contact form or during onboarding.
Our configurator and our migration estimator also record the answers you give as you go, including sessions you begin and do not submit, together with the optional contact detail requested on the first panel. That field says so beside itself, at the moment it is asked. The purpose is narrow: to send you your estimate or answer your question if you leave before the end. It is used for nothing else, and leaving it blank costs you nothing, since every step works without it. A partial session that never becomes an engagement is kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically; the 7 year retention below applies to client engagements, not to visitors who never became clients.
This site sets two cookies, both strictly necessary: one holds your session so the contact form can work, the other carries the token that protects that form against forgery. Neither tracks you, neither is read by anyone else, and the site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or analytics at all. Your browser also stores your language choice locally, along with any configurator answers you have given, so you can leave and return to the same place. None of that leaves your browser until you submit something.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as required to deliver contracted services (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers under data processing agreements). Information is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting support@tsintegration.ca. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. TSI operates under Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA.
Data Security
TSI implements security controls appropriate to the sensitivity of data processed. Baseline controls include: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest for all stored client data, access control on a least-privilege basis, and quarterly security review.
We are working toward SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, affected clients are notified within 72 hours per Law 25 requirements, and the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI) is notified where required.
Client systems integrated by TSI remain the property and responsibility of the client. TSI’s security obligations are limited to the scope defined in the applicable SOW and do not extend to the client’s broader environment unless explicitly contracted.
Intellectual Property
Unless explicitly transferred in writing in the applicable SOW, Tremblay Systems Integration Inc. retains ownership of all pre-existing intellectual property, methodologies, frameworks, tools, and code libraries used in the delivery of services.
Custom deliverables produced solely for a client and defined as “Work Product” in the SOW are assigned to the client upon receipt of full payment. TSI retains a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use anonymized learnings and non-client-specific components for internal improvement and future client work.
Client data and client-owned systems integrated by TSI remain the intellectual property of the client at all times. TSI makes no claim to client data.
Quality Assurance
TSI delivers all work against acceptance criteria defined in the applicable SOW. Deliverables are reviewed against these criteria before submission. Clients have a review period (default: 10 business days) to raise defects. Confirmed defects within scope are remediated at no additional charge.
TSI targets 99.5% uptime for managed services (defined per SOW), measured monthly. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated at least 48 hours in advance. SLA credits (where contracted) are issued as service credits, not cash refunds.
All engagements include a post-delivery retrospective to capture improvements. TSI commits to continuous improvement of delivery practices.
Jurisdiction
These policies and all TSI contracts are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The Civil Code of Québec (C.c.Q.) governs contract interpretation. TSI is federally incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA, corp. no. 1787248-8) and registered in Québec (NEQ 1182075656); the CBCA is the primary statute governing TSI’s corporate obligations, while Québec statutes such as the Loi sur la publicité légale des entreprises govern its Québec registration.
Any dispute not resolved by good-faith negotiation within 30 days is submitted to binding arbitration in Montreal, Quebec. The language of proceedings is English or French as agreed. TSI does not consent to class actions or class arbitration.
This website and its contents are intended for business audiences in Canada. TSI does not represent that materials on this site are appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TSI’s total aggregate liability to any client arising out of or related to any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
TSI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if TSI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These limitations apply regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) and reflect a fundamental part of the basis of the bargain between TSI and its clients. Specific carve-outs (gross negligence, willful misconduct) are set out in each executed MSA.
